'Buying a car - a pleasant experience?'

'At Salerno Duane Ford, the answer is an unequivocal "YES!" Salerno Duane is very transparent and honest. I never felt pressured at all and with all the pricing information out there today, and by doing a bit of comparison shopping at other dealers (which Salerno Duane suggested), I know I received the best deal possible. They never tried to upsell me or sell me accessories or after the fact products that I didn't want. They listened to what I wanted and met MY needs and only made suggestions that were a benefit to me and not necessarily to generate a profit from them. They truly know how to attract and retain loyal customers. The entire process was extremely smooth from my initial contact with Ariel Sallemi via the internet to my interim and final negotiations with Steve Costa, the sales manager to the handling of my sale by Vito Monaco (who did a wonderful job of delivering and explaining the vehicle to us), to the signing of the final paperwork and the add-on of the extended warranty and GAP insurance (which I initiated) with Steve Bernstein. "The Disneyland of Car Dealerships"

My wife and I recently purchased a new Ford Escape from Salerno Duane Ford in Summit, NJ, and we could not be more pleased with the experience, and Bob Cerza was the ultimate no-pressure salesperson. Additionally, the general manager made the return of our leased vehicle seamless and painless. As we were finalizing our new auto agreement my wife commented to Bob that theirs is the Disneyland of auto dealerships because it's the happiest place on earth. Would absolutely recommend Bob and this team.

"Great experience. Worth the 90 minute drive"

My girlfriend and I were looking for an ecoboost focus for a few weeks and managed to track one down at this dealership. After a few emails back and forth with the internet saleswoman (Ariel) we decided to take the trip. We drove from Long Island Saturday morning and while I was a bit apprehensive we had an awesome experience. Ariel set us up with Bob Cerza and everything went exactly as discussed via email. I am very happy with out experience and highly recommend this dealership.

"They keep us coming back"

We leased a car from the Salerno Jeep store a few years ago. The courteous no pressure approach brought me back to their Ford store. I was right; still a great place to buy a car. My sales person Bob Montgomery (Monty) is a courteous, patient, knowledgeable sales person. No pressure. Treated me with the respect someone who is making a car purchase deserves. I was a person, a neighbor buying a car; not a number to fill his quota. We made the deal early in the week and I took delivery on Saturday. The whole transaction across both days took a total of 90 minutes. This is in line with the speed of paperwork I've come to know from Salerno. They have their act together. The sales manager Steve called me personally asked for my feedback. Couldn't say enough good about my experience. Ariel the Internet sales manager was extremely helpful; and the website is well maintained. Accurate and clean photos; window stickers posted on the site. Good website to pre shop before going in. The vehicle was immaculately cleaned for delivery. Monty took the time to show me all the bells and whistles. He never left my side while I filled out paperwork; this is service!!
