Ford Electric Vehicles Access Tesla Superchargers In 2024
Ford EVs will have access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers in the US and Canada. By 2024, fast chargers will triple to Ford EV users. Ford EV vehicles that can access the Tesla Superchargers include:
- Mustang Mach-E
- F-150 Lightning
- E-Transit
To activate and pay, Ford drivers will use the following apps:
- FordPass
- Ford Pro Intelligence
You can access the stations via a pending adaptor and one of the software links. But newer models for 2025 EVs will be compatible. Ford will add the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector. Adding a connector that is compatible with Tesla will assist future Ford EVs. With this, Ford EVs won't need an adapter, simplifying the charging process.

How Many EV Plugs Does Ford Have?
Ford provides North America's most extensive public charging network for electric vehicles. The FordPass charge network is expanding and has approximately 19,500 charge stations with 63K plugs.
Ford consumers will be given the most options for charging their EVs. By early 2024, Ford dealers intend to expand the BlueOval Charge Network. You can expect 1,800 outlets and public-facing fast chargers.
Ford customers have straightforward access to charging stations on the road thanks to the FordPass charging network. FordPass makes it simple to locate and monitor the availability of chargers on the Greenlots network. Yes, this includes Tesla charging stations in the future.
In the meantime, adapters will be available to all Ford EV users via the Tesla app or website. They will be given out nationwide in 2024. The chargers will have at least 3,500 and 250-kilowatt Superchargers along major highways.

Ford customers are ready for road trips with FordPass power and the FordPass app. Your trip-planning tool takes the following into review:
