Available for SuperCrew XLT and Lariat models, this blast from the past returns with distinctive orange and black body-side graphics, unique matte black18-inch 12-spoke wheels, plus gloss black accents on the grille, bumpers, rearview mirror caps, wheel lip moldings and fender vents.
Key interior features include exclusive seats with orange contrast stitching and unique carbon grain with tuxedo stripes – leather-trimmed in Lariat models.
“Ranger customers love to personalize their trucks – more than 80% customize their Ranger with an appearance package – and with Splash, we’re giving them something exclusive,” said Chad Callandar, Ford Ranger marketing manager. “Every few months, we’re going to roll out another exterior color for Ranger that will be offered one time only and in very limited quantities.”
Adding more off-road capabilities, the Ford Ranger Splash Package can be combined with the FX2 or FX4 Package which includes the Terrain Management System that offers four selectable drive modes that assists you in tackling the toughest of terrain. Ranger Splash – Snow Edition
Part of the Splash Limited Editions and first to be released, is the Lariat Ranger Splash - Snow Edition. This limited edition feature Avalanche paint and grille nostrils on the outside, while the interior cabin features black accents and ebony leather-trimmed cloth seats with Ash Gray accent stitching carbon-weave tuxedo stripes that are bolstered to offer maximum style and comfort. The Ranger Splash - Snow Edition will be a limited run of about only 750 vehicles.
Ranger Splash – Forest Edition
Second in line to be released as part of the Splash Limited Editions is the Forest Edition. The XLT Ranger Splash - Forest Edition is unmistakably unique with its Forged Green exterior paint and red grille nostrils. Limited to approximately 500 vehicles, inside, the Forest Edition will also feature black accents and ebony leather-trimmed bolstered cloth seats with Ash Gray accent stitching carbon-weave tuxedo stripes.
Ranger Splash – Sand Edition
Last but not least, the XLT Ranger Splash - Sand Edition will make its appearance with a limited run of approximately 500 vehicles. Like the other Splash Limited Edition Rangers, the Sand Edition feature black accents and ebony leather-trimmed bolstered cloth seats with Ash Gray accent stitching carbon-weave tuxedo stripes. What makes it unique to itself is the Desert Sand exterior paint that is ready to hit the local beaches.
Every Ranger model is equipped with the gas-powered 2.3L Ecoboost engine with best gas torque in its midsize pickups class with 310 lb. -ft of torque.
