Saving Gas and the Ecosystem
There are so many amenities that you can get in the 2018 Ford Escape. For starters, each new Escape is built with an advanced Aerodynamic Design to reduce air resistance with Active Grille Shutters, which helps vehicle aerodynamic drag by air traveling through the radiator.
To make efficient use of power and fuel, the Escape offers 2 EcoBoost engines. Choose between the available 1.5L EcoBoost 4-cylinder - with an EPA-estimated 30 hwy mpg - or the available 2.0L EcoBoost 4-cylinder for added power. The EcoBoost technology helps produce a cooler and denser fuel-injection charge that generates more power for every drop of fuel.
The new Escape also uses other environmentally conscious decisions such as a bio-based polyurethane foam delivered from oils in various plant seeds such as soybeans. More than 10 lbs of scrap cotton from a landfill & sound absorption materials and about 25 recycled 20-oz bottles are used throughout the 2018 Escape.
