Lighter and better handling – 2015 Ford Mustang.
Firstly, Ford plans on selling the 2015 Ford Mustang overseas, and to appeal to those global buyers, we can expect that Ford has made the car to be lighter and more efficient. However, that doesn’t mean it’s going to become a smart car and disappoint Mustang Enthusiasts across the US. In fact, it’s just expected to have smaller dimensions than those of the S197’s, and that means weight loss. The all new 2015 Ford Mustang S550 could very well be up to 400lbs lighter than the S197. However, that weight loss could vary in the trim factor, be it the 4 cylinder or the new SVT/GT350. Either way, you’re getting an Independent Rear Suspension for the first time since the final 2004 SVT Cobra, and that means improved handling, packaging, and ultimately, ride comfort. That alone is sure to give the 2015 Ford Mustang credibility to European potential buyers.
Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder.
What else can we expect from the 2015 Ford Mustang’s exterior? New tail lights for one thing. The new tail lights are surprisingly said to be one of the most unique changes and also, one of the most praised.
Car and Driver states:
“The rear-end houses one of the neatest design features of the new Mustang. The car’s trademark taillight design with three vertical bars will continue, but in the form of LED- lit transparent planes protruding from a concave surface set beneath the decklid. The lighting elements will illuminate sequentially, of course, when used for turn indication.”
Air vents on the hood will also continue, as they’ve been seen on the renderings of the 2015 Ford Mustang, so the mean look continues as does the functionality of the heat extracting vents.
Pre-Ordering the 2015 Ford Mustang in New Jersey; Inside is what counts.
The interior of the 2015 Ford Mustang is sure to catch attention as it is said to have more ambient lighting that will give greater control to drivers over the interior ambiance while improvements and innovations to Ford’s MyFordTouch will be a well welcomed added change to the all new 2015 Ford Mustang. Similar to the S197’s, the all new Mustang’s gauges will stay- potentially and likely close to the recently surfaced interior spy shots. As for what we can see about seating, the rear seat headrests have been completely annihilated by Ford, creating greater visibility. Another thing that can be seen from the spy photos is that Ford has changed up the steering wheel and added a paddle shifter. And maybe, just maybe and hopefully, Ford plans on parting out with the many plastic interior parts that have been causing complaints over all these years.
All about the Engines in the 2015 Ford Mustang for sale in NJ.
The exact engine lineup isn’t certain, but the 2015 Ford Mustang engine lineup is expected to look like this; 4 cylinder EcoBoost projected to make 300-330HP, the Current V6 at 300+ HP, potentially a V6 EcoBoost that could range from 360-400HP, and of course the current Coyote 5.0, projected to make anywhere from 430-500HP. We might can take out our hopes for the V6 EcoBoost for now, but there is a rumor that that it’ll make it into the lineup, just not until 2016 or 2017 at the earliest. If and when that happens, it will be under the Coyote 5.0 on the Engine Totem pole.
Many renderings, guesses, and estimates have surfaced and come into play over time, and the day is almost here where we won’t have to guess or make renderings anymore, the day we will finally see the 2015 Ford Mustang! The day where we’ll finally see the mysterious final interior, exterior, know the exact performance, and know the final engine line up options that will be available. Ford plans on keeping fans full of suspense by dropping a few more hints as to what we can expect. The first official photo of the 2015 Ford Mustang will be revealed via Ford’s Instagram. The best news yet? Only a week and a half remains until December 5th, the day we’ve all been waiting for, the day we will finally see the 2015 Ford Mustang and have all of our questions finally answered.
